Clancee Synco is the Administrative Assistant at the African American and African Studies Community Extension Center. She is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at The Ohio State University. She brings a background in community programming, academic support, and research.

She has experience in program coordination, having previously interned with the International Association of Blacks in Dance. She also served as a research assistant for Archiving Black Performance in the Department of Dance at Ohio State. Her interests include public policy, cultural institutions, and storytelling as a tool for equity and engagement. Her undergraduate thesis, Dancing Between Redlines: Southern Black Dance During the Civil Rights Era, explored Southern Black cultural legacy, archival practice, and performance as resistance through a combination of oral history and choreographic research in Birmingham, Alabama an area that she continues to engage with.
